VBCS offers a solid core education. High school graduation requirements meet or exceed those required by the state of South Carolina.
Grades 7-8
These students get their first taste of high school life with blocked classes and more independence in completing their schoolwork. Students learn to touch type.
Middle & High School
Getting ready for the next step
English--4 credits
Math--4 credits including Algebra 1-2 and Geometry
Social studies--3 credits, including 1 credit in U.S. history, .5 credits in government, and .5 credits in economics
Science and health--3.5 credits including two lab classes
Foreign language--2 credits
Computer science--1 credit
Physical education--1 credit
Bible--1 credit for each year attended at VBCS
Life skills class--.5 credits
Electives--1 credit
